Description:
Cragun's Resort on beautiful Gull Lake has an incredible opportunity to join our Executive team as a Director of Facilities! The Director of Facilities is responsible for overseeing the day to day needs of the resort maintenance needs and leading the Grounds, Construction, and Maintenance teams.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Direct and participate in the maintenance of the resort infrastructure, guest rooms, cabins, kitchens, Legacy Clubhouse and more
Work with accounting in developing annual operating budget and plans for maintenance and capital improvement projects
Supervise and control all maintenance expenses associated with Resort operations including: payroll, supplies, mechanical and building repairs
Recruit, supervise and retain highly motivated and qualified team members
Supervise and maintain proper state statutes for plumbing, electrical, and other work completed by team and outside contractors
Work closely with, advise, and coordinate with other department managers - schedule maintenance practices around guest occupancy and events to maximize efficiency and minimize disruption to resort guests
Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services, and facility expansion
Inspects construction and installation progress
manage the Receiving function
Responsible for preventative maintenance of facility equipment, including HVAC, office equipment and beyond
Monitoring inventory, stock the department with all needed equipment and supplies
Maintains safe and sanitary environment
Demonstrates proper use of Personal Protective Equipment
Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Requirements:
Previous management experience required
Strong leadership and motivational skills
Strong mechanical aptitude in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, basic maintenance and pool operations is a PLUS, but not necessarily required
Must be extremely organized, personable, and enthusiastic
Must have a valid driver's license with a clear driving record
