As a Laborer on the Baratto Brothers Construction Team, you will primarily work alongside other laborers and carpenters under the direction and supervision of a Foreman or Superintendent in all phases of construction and general labor tasks in both residential and commercial construction.
Laborer Responsibilities Ensure company and customer satisfaction through professional appearance, expert workmanship, and polite communication.
Unloading, handling, stockpiling, and erecting of materials delivered to the jobsite Work under the direct supervision of carpenters Rough Framing Layout walls Build stairs Set and/or frame floor and roof trusses Properly install exterior siding, soffit, fascia Finish Carpentry Set door frames, doors, and hardware Install interior millwork Cooperate with others in a team environment Accept and follow direction from carpenters, foremen, and superintendents Follow employer rules and procedures Punctual and consistent attendance Maintain safe and clean work environment and work trailer Requirements Must be able work within precise limits or standards of accuracy Must be able to frequently sit, stand, walk, crouch, climb, kneel, and periodically lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to safely work from an elevated position of greater than 6ft.
Must be able to safely operate power equipment such as: table saw, radial arm saw, belt and disc sanders, drill presses, fall protection, and other hand and power tools required to complete work Must maintain positive attitude and professional customer interaction Education/Experience High School Diploma or GED is preferred Past industry or similar job experience is a plus Company Benefits When you join Baratto Brothers Construction you’re more than an employee, you become part of our family.
