Roles and Responsibilities
Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring quality of goods
Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and warehouse employees’ performance
Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
Ensure accuracy of shipments and inventory transactions
Communicate job expectations; supervise and coach warehouse employees
Determine staffing levels and assign workload to warehouse employees
Maintain items record, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse status
Identify areas of improvement and establish or adjust existing work procedures and practices
Confer and coordinate activities with other departments
Coordinate vehicle repairs/maintenance on fleet of 30+ vehicles
Process warranty claims/returns
Additional Responsibilities
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Minimum Requirements
Current, valid driver’s license
High school diploma or GED
Ability to operate a forklift
Ability to lift up to 100lbs and operate hand tools
Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management
Time management skills with the ability to delegate tasks
Excellent leadership and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software
Problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
Previous warehouse supervisor or manager experience
