Crow Wing Cabinets is looking for a Designer & Estimator with kitchen and bath experience (preferred).
In this position you will work directly with customers on their project in design layout, estimating project costs, follow up and closure, and occasionally site field measuring.
Qualities required to be successful in this position include strong organization skills, ability to prioritize and multi task, ability to understand the customers needs and budget, ability to work under deadlines and communication skills.
*Responsibilities:*
* Determine customers needs, wants and budget for their project
* Create design and estimate and present to the customer
* Able to read and understand architectural drawings and specifications
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Competent computer skills, including MS-Excel, Word and Outlook
* Have knowledge or learn CAD software such as Cabinet Vision and 2020
* Analytic skills for evaluating situations and problem solving
* Excellent follow up skills
* Networking opportunities with local professionals (contractors, interior designers, Real Estate Agents, etc.
)
* Creating opportunities to bring potential customers into showroom through social media, cold calling, showroom events
*Education & Job-Related Experience:*
* Associate degree in Kitchen/Bath Design or equivalent work experience (preferred)
* 2+ Years of successful sales experience
* Ability to ask for and close a sale
* Strong communication skills
* Highly organized
* Attention to detail
* Analytical problem solving skills
* Work well in team environment
* Clean driving record and valid Class D license
*Hours:*
Generally, work schedule is M-Th 8:30-5 and Fri 7:30-4.
Occasionally, you may work an evening or Saturday based on appointment
