ARE YOU UP FOR THE OPPORTUNITY? THE OPPORTUNITY: Our Little Falls remote manufacturing facility is looking for the next servant leader to guide all site activities at our 110,000 sq.
ft facility.
The Plant Manager will be accountable for screenprint and embroidery manufacturing, post-processing and packing, as well as warehousing/shipping/receiving.
At our site in Little Falls, we proudly produce hats and garments for our incredible resort and collegiate customers all across the country.
The Plant Manager will work with 5 direct reports, leading up to 200 team members.
Our growth has been consistent in Little Falls, and we're looking for the next servant leader to continue to drive us to the next level.
Together with Team Leads and Supervisors, this position is responsible for establishing priorities and allocating resources to align with company goals that WOW Our Customers.
It's one of our core values and it's kind of a big deal to us.
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced hands-on leader who possesses a strong ability to inspire, guide and develop individuals and teams.
This individual must be metric-driven with the ability to establish, make visible, and monitor goals to achieve overall company objectives.

A Typical Day (job functions) | Lead with Action + Clear, Concise Communication + Define Goals + Measure Outcomes + Continuous Improvement + WOW Our Customer Lead daily direction setting activities to ensure functional areas meet daily production goals Establish site goals and continuous improvement plans that align to annual company strategic priorities Together with leaders, establish priorities and allocate resources to align with company goals and WOW Our Customers Work with leaders and the Life's Better Department (ie: Human Resources) to recognize internal talent, provide development, and identify opportunities for team member growth Provide direction, development, and guidance to leaders, coaching to problem solve and performing daily checks on established leader standard work Regularly deliver performance results on safety, quality, delivery, and production performance to management team Collaborate with managers in all areas of Lakeshirts on process improvements, as well as current and upcoming operational needs Work with the Life's Better Department to attract, hire, and train team members effectively Support and foster our value of TEAM (ope! there's a core value), working with leaders to develop and maintain a positive work environment Promote an environment of Continuous Improvement (it's another one of our core values), leading root cause analysis for all quality-related issues and lead implementation of improved best practice standards Identify and participate in opportunities for continued learning Hold responsibility for compliance of Fair Labor Association benchmarks as outlined by the FLA Skills (qualifications) | People Person + Visual Metrics + Systems Engineering + Live our Values + Humble Demeanor + Continuous Improvement (mentioned multiple times because it's that important) Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or Engineering field, plus experience OR Previous experience in a site leadership role Demonstrated ability to stand alone as a site leader 10 years of operations management experience Strong emphasis in continuous improvement and manufacturing management Demonstrated ability to lead and develop individuals and teams Demonstrated ability in driving performance improvements utilizing various continuous improvement methodologies PC Skills - Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel and experience with an ERP system (Syspro, SAP, etc.
